We Wish You A Merry Christmas.....
We kicked off the celebrations early with our Kris Kindle/Secret Santa morning. The students put great thought into the gifts they bought for each other and enjoyed trying to figure out who their Secret Santa was!
We put huge work into preparing for our Christmas play. Both classes worked together to create props and on set & costume design. We had great fun rehearsing and performing for the other classes in school and for the parents.
Thanks to Pádraig for bringing in some hens, chickens & ducks today. We were thrilled to see one who had hatched in our school library last May!
6th Class were invited to Athboy Community School to visit the ARC. The Aquaculture Remote Classroom (ARC) is a mobile classroom which has been designed to raise young people’s awareness of aquaculture.
We learned about the waters in & around Ireland and how fish are farmed. We used VR headsets to explore a salmon farm and discover how it operates.
